IT WAS A GRAND OPENING

The Mayor, Council Persons, Chamber Officials, Chamber Members, Branch Managers, Owners, Officers, well-wishers, donuts, coffee and juice – they were all part of the Newmans Valve Corporate Headquarters Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Harvey started the event off surrounded by Steve, our branch managers and officers. Telling a brief history of Newmans Valve, Harvey paid homage to our original founders Irv and Don, how far the company has come, and conveyed a message of optimism to all who attended. He then introduced the Mayor of the City of Stafford.

Mayor Leonard Scarcella gave an inspiring speech about his city’s history of being a friend and supporter of business, and how much it meant to Stafford to have Newmans as its newest resident. The crowd responded whole-heartedly to the mayor’s message of growth and success.

Following the Mayor, Harvey introduced Kevin Kettle – Director of Member Resources for the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.  Kevin read a proclamation from the chamber and then presented it to Steve and Harvey. Then Steve and Harvey used the oversized scissors to cut the bright red ribbon and invited all the attendees inside for refreshments and tours of the new facility.
